I live in Australia and appreciate living creatively and enjoying the rhythms of life. I’m a writer, reader, gardener, maker, and dreamer. I try to facilitate and support creative endeavours wherever I find them.
After working more than 30 years as a librarian and as well as experience as editor of quilt and textile magazines for several years, I continue to write. I am currently writing a memoir about gardening. When this gets too emotional (at regular intervals), I work on my cosy mystery series of novels. The process of sharing stories is ingrained in me.
My garden is a source of pleasure, solace, calm and unruliness. It can also be frustrating!
I’ve made quilts since the 1980s and always have multiple projects waiting to be completed. I mostly sew by hand and enjoy the hand stitching process because it soothes me.
