Last week, I decided I couldn’t bear any more AI in my Internet browser. You’re not the only browser in the world, Chrome.
I’m currently using Vivaldi, designed by an independent browser company based in Norway and Iceland where privacy rules are strong (yay, it’s not a USA mega-business). Every feature can be personalised and can be synched across devices. It doesn’t track or profile users, nor does it collect usage data. There’s a built-in ad blocker and the company will not use AI.
