In her garden

8 April 2022

I’ve always loved magazines and I’ve always loved gardens. Combine the two and I’m yours!

This is the cover of a beautiful new magazine from the stable of Stampington & Company, publishers of other creative titles. It’s actually a spin-off from In Her Studio magazine and contains stories, photographs and projects about women and their gardens. Not so much a how-to-garden magazine (although there are specifics about some plants), it’s more about real gardens and the joy they give to their owners.

It features gardens in North America, not surprising since this is a US magazine. I’d like to read more stories about older women and their gardens but that, of course, depends on who chooses to make submissions to the magazine.

If you like seeing other people’s gardens and reading their stories, you’ll enjoy In Her Garden.

I’ve always found it difficult to find Stampington & Company publications here in Australia, so I purchased a digital copy from their website. Although I miss the feel of paper, I could download the pdf immediately. Instant gratification! 🙂

I acknowledge the Gundungurra people on whose land I live and create.
I pay my respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging.
I recognise that this is, was, and always will be aboriginal land.
