Hello! I’ll be sending these newsletters at irregular intervals from now on. Some weeks I’ve simply run out of words while, at other times, different activities call me away from my computer. You may not even notice; I doubt you wait each Sunday for my missive to drop into your inbox! 😀

I’ve read two novels this week. One is completely wacky and so much fun (The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels by India Holton) and I’m still reflecting on the second (Dirt Town by Hayley Scrivenor). I’ll review them in due course but I did review another recent read – Making it Write by Betty Hechtman – here. All completely different types of stories.

I’m pleased that I finished piecing two small quilts this past week. They are now awaiting professional quilting (I don’t do machine quilting – yuck!) and I’ll show photos when they are completed. One is a quilt for my god-daughter’s baby and the other to hang on one of our walls. Such a feeling of accomplishment!

To finish, here’s a photo of one of my daphne plants, captured in a rare moment of sunshine this week. It has such a subtle perfume!

Have a lovely week.
