Blue + flowers = yes, please! It was a tough task, choosing so few, but here are my three favourite blue flowers.
Bluebells

With their elegant, arching stems and pretty bell-shaped flowers, bluebells are a welcome sight in my spring garden. They hold a special place in my heart and you can discover the reason in one of my earlier posts.
Nigella

Oh, how I love the delicacy of nigella’s foliage. Often called love-in-a-mist, they evoke the warm, dreamy days of summer. They are easy to grow from seed and look spectacular when planted en masse.
Hydrangeas

These gorgeous plants are summer stunners. They have large, serrated-edged leaves and huge heads of flowers. You can admire them in the garden or cut armfuls of the long stems to display inside your house. I’ve written an earlier post in more detail here.
What are your favourite blue flowers? I’m always looking for more to add to my garden!
