I mentioned in my November newsletter that the first meeting of a local writers’ group that I am facilitating was happening on Wednesday. I was anxious that no one would come so I was relieved when eight other writers arrived.

We chatted about ourselves and what we were writing for thirty minutes and, for the following hour, we each worked on our individual projects. There was a strong sense of achievement by the end. It was so gratifying.
We’ve named ourselves Writers’ Circle and will meet once in January and then fortnightly from February. The discipline will be helpful for me and, I hope, the others.
