My book of the month: April 2021

9 April 2021

I wish I’d discovered this book when it was published in 2019. That was a busy and stressful year for me so I guess that’s why I missed it. But now I’ve read it and wow – it is the most astonishingly poignant story I have read in a long time.

Immediately I started reading the novel, it reminded me of the books by Sarah Addison Allen. Not in the content of the story but the feeling of wonder invoked.

This is not a novel for logical and pragmatic people. It is a magical story and you need to suspend your critical thoughts of logistics and simply go with the flow. The reward is enchantment.

It’s a lovely book, as is her newest, The Emporium of Imagination:)

I’m so looking forward to Tabitha’s new novel. It’s on my TBR list!
